David E. Kolan CPA Joins Berkowitz Pollack Brant as a Director in the Audit and Attest Services Practice

MIAMI, March 24, 2014 – Berkowitz Pollack Brant Advisors and Accountants announced the addition of David E. Kolan CPA, as a director in the firm’s Audit and Attest Services practice. He will focus his practice on serving the consulting and audit needs of domestic and international companies, partnerships and entrepreneurs.
Kolan has more than 30 years of experience and has assisted hundreds of companies in the development and implementation of strategic plans, corporate reorganizations, debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions and due diligence.

Kolan joins the firm from Schneider Downs and Co. in Columbus, Ohio, and previously worked in the firm’s Pittsburgh office.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, president of the Columbus Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and a member of the boards of Columbus Sister Cities International and the Japan-American Society of Central Ohio. Past president of PrimeGlobal North America, Kolan is also a member of the Ohio Manufacturer’s Association, the Ohio Contractors Association, Columbus 2020 International Advisory Committee and the Columbus Council on World Affairs.
Kolan holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Duquesne University.
