Florida families preparing for the beginning of another school year may want to schedule their back-to-school shopping during the state’s extended 10-day sales-tax holiday, which runs Saturday, July 31 through Monday. August 9, 2021.

This is the first year since 2015 that the Florida legislature approved a back-to-school sales tax holiday for more than 5 days, providing residents with significantly more time to purchase a wide variety of back-to-school apparel and supplies, online or in person, without paying state or local sales tax.
