Berkowitz Pollack Brant Director Appointed to FICPA International Tax Committee

MIAMI, June 29, 2021 – Berkowitz Pollack Brant Advisors + CPAs today announced Director Arthur J. Dichter, JD, LLM, was re-appointed to the International Tax Committee of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), a statewide association representing the accounting profession and CPAs roles in shaping public policy. He has served on the FICPA’s International Committee for more than 15 years.

Dichter has more than 30 years of international tax consulting and compliance experience, helping multi-national businesses and foreign and domestic individuals structure assets and build wealth in compliance with U.S. and foreign income, estate and gift tax laws. Among his areas of specialization are preimmigration planning for high-net-worth families and structuring inbound investments and acquisitions for maximum cross-border tax efficiency.

A frequent speaker at international tax conferences, Dichter holds the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, an international organization of wealth, trust and estate professionals. He is also a member of the Tax Section of the Florida Bar and a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Miami School of Law. Dichter holds an LL.M. in Tax from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from American University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Muhlenberg College.
