Berkowitz Pollack Brant Announces 34 Promotions

MIAMI, July 15, 2021 – Berkowitz Pollack Brant Advisors + CPAs today announced it has promoted 34 firm members, including three to the position of associate director.

Rick Bazzani, CPA, was promoted from senior manager to associate director of Tax Services, where he will continue to focus his practice on tax-efficient estate planning for individuals and business owners. Active in the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA) and the Estate Planning Council of Broward County, he holds a master’s degree in accounting and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Stetson University in DeLand, Fla.

Heath Standorf, CPA, advances to associate director of Tax Services, where he will continue to provide sophisticated tax consulting and compliance services to high-net-worth individuals, family offices and clients in the real estate industry. A member of the Urban Land Institute’s Young Leaders Group, he holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in business administration from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Fla.

Joanie Stein, CPA, was promoted to associate director of Tax Services, where she provides tax accounting and estate and wealth planning services to real estate management and investment companies, high-net-worth individuals and closely owned businesses. A member of the FICPA and active in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Temple Beth Shalom of Miami Beach, she holds a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fla., and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Tulane University in New Orleans.
