Mitchell Cohen, CPA, Joins Berkowitz Pollack Brant as Director of Assurance and Advisory Services

MIAMI, FL – March 31, 2025 – Berkowitz Pollack Brant Advisors + CPAs today announced that Mitchell Cohen, CPA, has joined the firm as a director in the Assurance and Advisory Services group.

For more than 20 years Cohen has assisted companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 with SEC filings, public and private debt and equity offerings fillings and complex accounting matters.

Areas of special focus include revenue recognition, impairment analysis, mergers and acquisitions, lease accounting, stock-based compensation, equity instruments, derivatives, goodwill and intangible assets and inventory valuation and management, including cost accounting.

 Earlier in his career Cohen served as varied roles as CFO, controller and director of financial reporting. He possesses extensive knowledge of the nuances of financial management, regulatory compliance and strategic planning and serves as a valuable asset to clients.

Cohen holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Pace University.
