Berkowitz Pollack Brant Announces Launch of New Affiliate BayBridge Real Estate Capital

Miami, Jan. 6, 2020 – In its ongoing quest to solve problems for clients, Berkowitz Pollack Brant has established a new affiliated company, BayBridge Real Estate Capital. The professionals of the new firm will bring institutional capital and other alternative forms of financing to commercial real estate owners and their projects across the country.

Berkowitz Pollack Brant’s Chief Executive Officer Joseph Saka commented, “This new entity will allow us to provide our clients with additional service offerings and gain access to new financing entities. The team has deep experience and will hit the ground running. We look forward to the synergies with our clients, especially in the real estate space.”

The firm, which is headed by Jay Miller and AJ Felberbaum in the New York office and Spencer Miller in the Ft. Lauderdale location, stands ready to help clients with a broad range of issues, including financing commercial property acquisitions (including EB-5 projects and 1031 replacement property and Qualified Opportunity Zone property), new construction, lease-up, value-add and repositioning projects (i.e. converting a warehouse to an apartment building); refinancing soon-to-mature loans; and converting recourse loans to non-recourse loans.
